The Committee on Technology for Development is a platform for member States to follow up on progress in technology-related activities undertaken by Arab countries and the ESCWA secretariat since its previous session, which was held in Beirut on 14 and 15 November 2022.
This session discusses digital transformation in the Arab region and the maturity of digital government services, new technologies and innovation in government entities, digital inclusion, digital trust and cybersecurity, and the relationship between digital and environmental development.
As part of its proceedings, the Committee holds a round table on accelerators for operationalizing the Arab Digital Agenda.
