ESCWA is organizing an online workshop for students of Mu'tah University in Jordan, in collaboration with the student chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers at the university. The workshop covers various renewable energy technologies, energy efficiency, the green economy and the water-energy-food nexus. It seeks to introduce students to the various possibilities of renewable energy to drive development.
This event is part of a series of workshops conducted within the framework of the Regional Initiative to Promote Small–Scale Renewable Energy Applications in Rural Areas of the Arab Region (REGEND) to empower young people and women in Jordan.
