As part of the Building Bridges Summit, ESCWA and other UN Regional Commissions, in collaboration with UN-Habitat and Geneva Cities Hub, organized a panel discussion on ways to increase financing for the Sustainable Development Goals at the local level.
During the session on 4 October, mayors, financial actors and agencies discussed sustainable financing for urban economic and social recovery projects.
In a related context, ESCWA and partners organized a high level inter-regional segment on the sidelines of the Third Forum of Mayors in Geneva, where participants shared their experience in finding urban regeneration solutions and strengthening urban resilience in line with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
