Traps, designed to catch fish or crustaceans, are in the form of cages or baskets made with various materials (wood, wicker, metal rods, wire netting, etc.) and have one or more openings or entrances. Usually set on the bottom, with or without bait, singly or in rows, connected by ropes (buoy-lines) to buoys on the surface showing their position.
