The main components of the platform were presented. It currently covers refrigerators, individual air conditioners, and washing machines. It is structured based on the following modules (each accessed through specific usernames and passwords):

• A module for Equipment suppliers (Manufacturers / importers). To Submit requests for certification and introduce technical characteristics of the equipment
• A module for the National Energy Conservation Agency (ANME). To validate the energy labelling certificate and authorize its reproduction,
• A module for the National Equipment testing laboratory (CETIME). To receive testing requests and upload testing reports.
• A free mobile application. To access technical information on the equipment through a QR-code. It allows the verification of the authenticity of the label and access to other material on EE

The refrigerators component was presented. It enables the various users to accomplish the following:

• For the supplier, adding a new model in its allotted space and requesting the testing of the device at the National Equipment Testing Laboratory (CETIME).
• Receiving the device by CETIME, then carrying out the test, then uploading the test report to the platform and validating it.
• Receiving the test report by the supplier and preparing an energy label stemming from the results of the report to submit for approval by ANME.
• Examination and validation by ANME of label approval requests.
• After validation by ANME, the supplier issues energy labels that include a QR code and place it on the respective device.

In this session, the two components for individual air conditioners and washing machines were presented. These two components enable the various platform users to accomplish, for these two types of equipment, the same operations that were presented for the refrigerator component. However, there are specific elements that are particular to these two types of equipment which were discussed in some detail in this session.

In this session, the application for the mobile phone "E-tiquette" intended for the large public was presented. It enables the people who have downloaded the application on their smart phones to accomplish the following:

• Verify the authenticity of the energy performance labels affixed to the electrical appliances that are exposed for sale in the market.
• Get additional information about the displayed equipment
• Access useful information regarding energy savings in household electrical equipment.
• Access various other measures about energy efficiency in dwellings.
