Technology & tools for analysis

ESCWA provides technical assistance on geospatial information tools and applications to assist Arab countries and stakeholders in better understanding the implications of climate change across subnational and national boundaries, based on institution or country-level requests.

Specialized institutions and research centres able to inform policymaking are also being targeted as beneficiaries of knowledge generation exercises, with special attention given to involving women and young graduates to support institutional strengthening and sustainability at the national level.

ESCWA also provides access to additional tools, such as the Regional Knowledge Hub Data Portal, to promote relevant data use and exchange for effective climate change analysis and policymaking.
