ESCWA is organizing a virtual regional meeting to introduce the “Equality: Creating opportunities for future generations” project.
The project aims to support the governments of Jordan, the Syrian Arab Republic, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco and Mauritania, in identifying and reducing the multidimensional forms of inequality they face. ESCWA will develop an interactive toolkit to be used in national workshops to build the capacity of relevant officials and policy makers to respond to the multiple and overlapping forms of inequality.
The project provides opportunities for peer-to-peer exchange of experiences among policymakers in the targeted countries and across the Arab region, and for benefiting from global experts on equality who have developed successful policy solutions that can be used in the Arab region.
