In the framework of a series of workshops on the use of the Index Simulator for Policymakers in the Arab Region (ISPAR) to address gender equality gaps, the ESCWA Centre for Women is organizing the second phase training workshop in Tunisia for participants from the Ministry of Women, Family, Children, and Older Persons and other relevant ministries.
The workshop is aimed at identifying the thematic areas where policy changes are a priority; developing scenarios and linking hypotheses with national strategies; sharing relevant global best practices from other member countries with similar experiences; and identifying reforms on the short, medium and long terms that could be implemented to improve Tunisia's overall ranking in global indicators on gender equality.
