Given the critical role of digital transformation and emerging technologies in modernizing Arab public institutions, ESCWA launched during a webinar three publications that explore the strategic use of emerging technology and innovation to implement the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its goals, particularly SDG 16, which promotes peaceful, inclusive, and strong institutions.
The publications, developed within the framework of the ENACT project, include: “Leveraging Emerging Technology and Innovation for Enhancing Public Institutions”, “InnoCook: An Innovation Model to Enhance Operations and Services of Arab Public Institutions”, and “The role of emerging technologies and innovation in enhancing effectiveness and decision-making in Arab public institutions”.
The webinar, held on 11 December, also aimed at fostering dialogue, knowledge exchange and cooperation among stakeholders in the region.
