Chain traceability
Definition:
The possibility of tracing a product all along the food/fish chain. A chain traceability system requires that a continuous record of all relevant information for tracing be maintained on a central database through the voluntary agreement of all industry and commercial parties involved in the chain... (para. 11).; What information should accompany the product from one point of the chain to the next, and in particular what data is transmitted and received, and how.(para.22).
