In the framework of the project on “Reducing road deaths and injuries in Jordan through increasing restraint use”, one final workshop is being held, with the aim of engaging various traffic safety-related stakeholders and inviting them to discuss the project’s activities and achievements.
In particular, the final workshop presents and discusses:
- the revised draft of the regulatory framework for seatbelts and child restraints;
- how the project’s revised regulatory framework contributed to the revision of the modified traffic law;
- the training of trainers course to prepare specialized trainers from the Public Security Directorate;
- the awareness campaign;
- the pre- and post- observational survey, its results and the related reports.
