In the framework of a series of workshops on “using modern technology to plan and manage mass urban transport networks in Libyan cities”, the third workshop is being held to discuss software tools that support the planning and operation of mass urban transport in Libya.
The workshop presents a case study for using geographic information systems to evaluate the coverage rate of public transport lines for the population in the city of Tripoli, in line with the standards of Goal 11 of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which aims to make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.
