ESCWA is extending technical support to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kuwait to hold a training workshop for diplomatic corps staff.
The overall objective of the training workshop is to strengthen the capacities of diplomats in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to actively engage in climate change negotiations, with a view to enhancing multilateral cooperation and developing common positions with like-minded States for achieving global climate goals in line with regional and national priorities.
The diplomats will also join the seventeenth regional workshop on capacity development for climate change negotiations for Arab countries.
