The expert group meeting brings together a select group of leading global experts on poverty measurement to critically assess the methodology, structure and analysis of the initial statistical results of the “World Poverty Higher than We Thought” Report.
The meeting also provides an opportunity to reflect on substantive experiences across world regions, and to discuss policy options for poverty reduction in different groupings of developing countries worldwide.
