From 26 to 28 November, ESCWA organized a technical training in Rabat on the Global Economy-wide Trade Simulator Interface (GETSI) to simulate the impacts of trade agreements and global economic shocks at the detailed product level in Morocco.
The workshop aimed to enhance the skills of Moroccan national experts and policymakers in utilizing the GETSI-Morocco platform for advanced trade policy analysis.
Participants were also introduced to practical applications for assessing real-world trade policies and designing alternative ones. Ultimately, they will be able to design and assess various scenarios of trade policies at national, regional, and global levels.
