Within the framework of the Sida-funded Regional Initiative for Promoting Small-Scale Renewable Energy Applications in Rural Areas of the Arab Region (REGEND), ESCWA is conducting a second round of capacity-building workshops in Jordan for students, engineers, practitioners and rural women to enhance their knowledge and skills on different topics, such as renewable energy, energy efficiency, sustainable development, rural development, and the water-energy-food nexus.
The workshops rely on the material of a REGEND online course, which covers a comprehensive range of topics, including sustainable energy, agriculture, food production, women empowerment, and the water-energy-food nexus.
