ESCWA is organizing a workshop to train national experts and policymakers on the use of the Global Economywide Trade Simulator Interface (GETSI)-Oman in trade analysis. The workshop is aimed at enabling participants to evaluate alternative scenarios of trade in goods, conduct an early assessment of global trade shocks, perform trade simulations, and evaluate the potential macroeconomic and sectoral effects of trade reforms and external shocks on the national economy in a timely manner.
This workshop is part of a series of workshops on trade simulation tools held by ESCWA in various Arab countries.
