As part of the project on "Supporting the economic empowerment of men and women with disabilities to access economic opportunities through inclusive economic ecosystems in the Arab region", ESCWA has carried out a needs assessment of men and women with disabilities to engage in economic opportunities through a widely disseminated survey in Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, and Tunisia.
The meeting aims at discussing the initial findings of the survey to enrich the relevant report with an in-depth analysis of the needs and obstacles facing men and women with disabilities in accessing job opportunities and starting their own businesses.
