ESCWA and the United Nations Statistical Division have jointly organized the third virtual workshop on the use of the Statistical Data and Metadata exchange (SDMX) standard for Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) data reporting - advanced level 1, from 15 to 17 November 2021, bringing together statisticians and information technology specialists from national statistical offices in the Arab region. This event is part of the SDMX training series.
The third workshop aims to further enhance countries’ capacities to exchange national data, raise awareness of developments in data exchange, and promote the implementation of SDMX at the national level. The workshop introduces participants to SDG-related content constraints, web-based conversion tools, the processes of metadata exchange, and customizing the Data Structure Definition at the national level.
