In support of the follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda at the regional level, ESCWA organized a virtual expert group meeting from 7 to 9 November to discuss and validate the draft chapters of the Arab Sustainable Development Report 2024 (ASDR 2024), developed through a participatory process led by ESCWA.
The report provides a comprehensive overview of the main policy directions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Arab region. The meeting brought together a dedicated UN interagency taskforce, and an expert group reviewing sustainable development priorities in the region.
ASDR 2024 is the second in the series of interagency regional reports produced after the adoption of the 2030 Agenda and its 17 SDGs.
