On 17 September, ESCWA and the Saudi Embassy in Beirut signed a joint statement reiterating their commitment to implement development projects in Lebanon and the Arab region.
The statement, which follows a series of joint activities, stipulates the intent of both parties to work together in areas of mutual interest, to improve their partnership and expand their networks.
The two parties had previously distributed food parcels to needy families in Lebanon, provided by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action.
