Launch of the socioeconomic dialogue on recovery in Yemen

To come up with a long-term vision for recovery in Yemen, ESCWA launched the first round of the Technical and Socio-Economic Dialogue on Recovery in a two-day meeting in Amman, Jordan.
 
Experts from Yemen in various fields discussed the main obstacles to recovery and priority topics related to the economy, society, environment, natural resource management, regional cooperation and other vital issues.
 
Discussions were based on the results of the consultative meeting held by ESCWA in July to discuss the vision of recovery and development with Yemeni experts from different backgrounds.
