Under the “Resilient Water Solutions Against Climate Change in Jordan and Lebanon” project led by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) in partnership with ESCWA and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the third regional Steering Committee meeting convened in Cairo.
The meeting, held on 18 and 19 September, aimed at discussing project advancements, challenges and solutions, and fostering regional learning on climate change adaptation.
Participants included high-level representatives from the Jordanian and Lebanese Governments, ministerial representatives, focal points from executing entities, and United Nations partners from both countries.
